Day725-It's easy to board but impossible to swim out

It was the day the class's were about to begin. I got to learn that I am in section A, which has classes at 9.30 and throughout the term. So I have to get up early for the next 3 months everyday from now on. Not quite the news to start the weekend. Since my class today was early, I did only 3 Kms jog and barely made it to class. It was Ratul sir who was taking mathematics. It was a very basic class and he started with concepts that we studied in 11th grade. I was waiting when he would start giving some problems, but he just went though the derivatives concepts and ended the class. I was a bit worried as he had only 5 classes this term and he had to finish a book! Anyways, it was kind of mixed reactions to see the people in my class. I didn't know anyone well. Infact I didn't know anyone in the college that well or made any attempts to it as I normally would. It was a combined mentality of boredom and laziness that made me question what's the point all the time.

So right after class it was time to go to chennai to grab my cycles. So I decided to take a bus at 12 pm12 pm in sricity is comparable to any city in the planet of mercury. I could barely walk and my head started spinning. Went quickly to hostel, gulped one litre of water and prepared myself for the Herculean task. So I took a share auto and reached chennai bus stand at Tada at quarter to twelve. And in the span of half an hour, 3 buses to chennai zoomed without stopping at all. The locals told me there is no specific timing for buses, some of them stop and some don't. It works on luck!

Quickly changed my mind. There was a railway station nearby and decided to take the train. Also found a few of my IFMR colleagues at the station and I was relieved to see some like minded faces on the verge of fainting due to the heat. The railway station at Tada was exquisite. Apart from the heat, the station overlooked the beach and Bay of Bengal or the pulicat lake. Quickly took a photo before burning myself.

So the train came and even though I was at the source station, the train came jam packed. There was no space to stand and yet the hawkers managed to pass through one coach to another easily.  Tempted by them, bought some samosas and buttermilk. After two hours of a hot ride in the train, reached chennai central from where I took the mrts to thiruvanmiyur to get my cycle to my grandfathers place. Finally rode my bike from 4-5 pm through peak chennai traffic. After all these decades, it was such a pleasure, to finally ride the cycle after such a long time! Though I couldn't ride fast as my legs were paining from the morning jogs and I was a bit tired from the train journey. Anyways chennai was such a bliss compared to the desert. And it would be my last one here as it's going to be a roller coaster semester starting this Monday. Buckled up ready I am.
