After having nailed Microeconomics exam, and also getting a full 20/20 on FAC exam, life was good. It was Marketing class next and time to study how to NAIL the competition. Personally I was not very fond of this kind of marketing. I tend not to look at the competition to describe your values but to set them yourself. But as Kotler and Venkatesh sir said, it involves a bit of both and a lot of other contingent variables. Like sir told Nipeksh's group, your time is NOW and its time to be aggressive. We were talking about the various strategies that the market leader applies in a competition and it was a very interactive and fun session with a lot of real life examples and videos. After the session, I got the news that we received the stock of new sports equipment that we ordered and decided to play football. it was foot ball in the rains. And the joy of end of Mid Terms did not end there. I did one hour of the Insanity workout in the gym losing tons of sweat. But the Icebreakers here is the OB quiz tomorrow for which trying to study was not working out. Forst it was Ujan and Abhishek pursuading me with filling air in football, then it was Ronak, Nitish and Dipesh who have made it a tradition to visit my room every night and waste my time teasing me with some random girls. And finally we had unexpected visitor in the form of Dwaipayan who kept on talking about photography to leave me with completely nothing, till 2 am. Moreover I had thought of attempting CFAT and CGAT which required high levels of Financial and Marketing knowledge which further ate up the time. It was time to set the priorities straight. This has to end and I have to end it. The voyage on this ship had a meaning and I do not intend to lose out on its purpose.
