Day 692 - Is 26 too old to celebrate?

I am 26. July 10th, The day of the year when its all about me and nobody else. Wishes pouring in facebook and catching up with people long forgotten was all my birthday was all about. Atleast thats what I thought when I slept off at night. But not quite. I was woken up by people at 12 midnight and subsequently ass-kicked and wished all through the night! I'm so glad that these people were not so ferocious compared to my college bunch. Anyways that was that but the icing on the cake was the exam. I went in, I wrote it and NAILED it. All the people in the other sections told me that either there is no space to write or they ran out of time. On this very special day of mine I finished off the exam with half an hour to spare and one sheet of paper blank.I guess I'm a sailor now after all. I gave myself a certificate from the ship that nobody knows of. It was an internal sense of satisfaction and belonging. And birthday or not this needed a celebration. I just agreed to the first set of people who approached me and it was me Ronak, Vikram and Nitish who went out to Manasa. Manasa was like this Island that we can go with the help of some commercial boats. It was the island that had Beer! It was good to have those people around and finally ended the day happy. A man is successful if he is happy before sleeping. And I sure as hell was.

The weather that was icing on the cake
